HOLTOP HVAC Systems Serve the Comprehensive Supporting Project of Nuclear Power Base
The comprehensive supporting project of Nuclear Power Base, serving as critical infrastructure for the nuclear power site. With a total construction area of approximately 52,000 square meters for Phase I, the project includes an intelligent control center, general office spaces, equipment rooms and other multi-functional zones. It imposes extremely stringent requirements on the reliability and precision control of HVAC systems.
The project adopts HOLTOP screw air-cooled chiller (heat pump) units, heat recovery air handling units and other air-conditioning products. These units cover all functional zones of the site, and the well-matched product portfolio addresses multiple rigorous operational requirements of the nuclear power base.
Energy-efficient, Low-carbon Operation
Compared with conventional modular chillers, HOLTOP screw air-cooled chiller (heat pump) units achieve a 15%~25% improvement in Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV). The energy-saving advantage is more prominent during long-duration partial-load operations such as transition seasons and nighttime low-load conditions. The units match the load dynamically and supply energy on demand, cutting energy consumption and operation & maintenance costs from the source and supporting low-carbon operation of the nuclear power supporting facilities.
Precise Temperature & Humidity Control
Equipped with high-precision temperature and humidity sensors and intelligent control algorithms, HOLTOP air handling units deliver temperature control accuracy of ±0.5℃. The system responds in real time and adjusts dynamically alongside indoor load changes. For high-demand areas such as the intelligent control center, the units maintain stable set parameters, eliminating uneven temperature distribution and fluctuations. This provides solid environmental assurance for the stable operation of the nuclear power site’s intelligent control hub.
Corrosion-resistant Design for Long-term Protection
HOLTOP main air-conditioning units and terminal products have passed salt spray tests to adapt to coastal environments with high salt spray and high humidity. Key internal components adopt corrosion-resistant materials and sealed structures to resist erosion from salt spray and acidic/alkaline media and extend service life. The unit casings meet high industry standards with excellent airtightness and low air leakage rate, ensuring long-term stable operation of the nuclear power supporting project.
Intelligent Control System for Smart Operation & Maintenance
HOLTOP HVAC systems are integrated with an intelligent control platform. It monitors operating status in real time, automatically matches loads and adjusts the number of running units to achieve refined on-demand energy supply. The system features equipment early warning and fault diagnosis functions to guarantee year-round stable operation and reduce maintenance workload. Intelligent operation can cut operation and maintenance costs by approximately 30%~50%, delivering worry-free, efficient and reliable environmental control for the multi-functional supporting facilities of the nuclear power base.
